  1. I'm currently in the FRCC Larimer County program. It's very competitive but definitely keep applying, especially if you can re-take a couple classes to raise your GPA. I'll be honest, most people in my cohort had a 4.0 or something very close along with a good HESI score (high 80s is probably the lowest you would want). Let me know if you have any other questions, good luck :)
  2. I just took the HESI A2 this morning. I've been out of high school for almost 20 years so it's been a LONG time since I've been in a math, chemistry, biology, or English classes. I studied for about 3 weeks, using the elsevier study guide. My college is very competitive and you're only allowed to take the test 1 time, so it was very important to do well the first try. I got an 88% cumulative score with a 94% in reading comprehension, 88% in biology, 86% in math, and 84% in chemistry. I don't apply to nursing school until August, so I'm not sure if my scores are high enough, but fingers crossed I'll get accepted and start in the Spring of 2019 :)
