I'm currently a registered nurse with an associates degree, I want to become a therapist. How do I go about doing this? Are there any specific schools that I can go to that I can somehow use my associates degree I already have towards a therapists degree?
I've been doing research and just a little confused on what kind of degree I'm suppose to get??

Are you talking about psychotherapy? There are many different paths to take if that's your interest. People who practice as psychotherapists may be licensed as social workers, psychologists, advanced practice psychiatric nurses, or LPCs (licensed professional counselors). Each displine has different requirements, but they all require graduate degrees. To the best of my knowledge, LPC is probably the quickest, easiest of the choices (although I'm sure plenty of LPCs would disagree with me about that).
