Hi,
I'm graduating this may with a MBA in healthcare administration. As I look at job prospects and career opportunities, it appears that there is shift to manager level and above jobs to have a clinical licensure, such as a RN.
I am aware of several accelerated BSN programs that require 13 months. Fortunately my undergrad degree was in biology, so I have the pre-reqs.
Is there anyone out there, that is in my boat? Someone who went form, or considering groin from MBA to pursue a BSN? It's very common for nurses to go from RN/BSN to MSN/MBA etc, but how common is the other way around?
I just want to give myself an edge, and know a BSN would be beneficial.

Sorry that no one commented on this, yet! I'm in a slightly similar situation. Did my undergrad in Health Care Management, worked for a year, and decided that I needed some clinical experience (since I couldn't get a job in Health Care). I got my ADN just this past May and I am now looking to pursue an MBA in Healthcare Management. How did your situation pan out for you?
Thanks!
