Stars I'm glad she showed up even if she was late

Ado hope the AC is OK

Hi Tweety

NJ22 hope you get the remaining meds for your trip

Finally had a fairly quiet day at work yesterday.  The person I was covering for had a new case, but apart from that it was not bad.  Towards the end of the day I had time to bake the cookies for the pride party at church today.  After work was quiet too, just ran an errand and exercised

Today should be fairly ordinary at work, a brief meeting but otherwise normal.  After work is the church's pride party at the minister's house

Will be a bit warm today, in the mid 80s.  By tomorrow it will be in the upper 90s

Good morning.

Joe, hope your morning goes well.

I'm off today and working the weekend.  Should be a routine day.  It's "wash the sheets Friday" and bed is made with fresh sheets.  I slept after feeding Waffles so I hope it doesn't mess me up tonight.  I'm so delicate with my sleep.  LOL

Will go the the gym and grocery store.  I see a new season of "Somebody Feed Phil" is on Netflix.  It's a travel food show that I like.

Have a great day.

I had 'wash the sheets' on Thursday, but it also happens (for Nannie) more than a few times a week. Anyway, all the laundry was done yesterday, as were the dirty dishes, and the putting out of the trash bins. So, now I am just lolling on the bed scrolling around on-line, and stretching my lower back out to ease the annoying discomfort.

I have to go get Nannie from daycare just before 5 PM. Already stressing over what to give her for supper.

Already dreading tomorrow and getting us 'duded up' for my niece's wedding. We have to be ready to be out the door by or just before 10:30 AM. It is supposed to be terribly hot and humid this weekend.

The day I got married was one of the coldest days of the year....trees were cracking, snapping, and falling, plus a person's nose-boogers were frozen in their nares. Don't care for either weather extreme, but I have no control over that.

Just will be happy when the gathering is over with, AND that in another 9 or so hours I can put Nannie to bed!! It's kind of sad that I start the day waiting for the end of the day. I am told "this too shall pass", but I only hope it won't wait for another 9 years before it does. Hubby and I chose to do this, but he bailed out on me early, so here I am, having kind of painted myself into this corner.  Oh well.

Plan B-44 for the pre-wedding instructions from SiL. (oy!)----

I got a text that Nannie and I should be up and dressed by 10 AM, and then her sister will be coming over to 'fix' Nannie's hair and will lead us to the church where the wedding will be taking place. Nannie is mad because she doesn't know what she is going to wear. I told her that she and SiL shopped a week or so ago and they chose the outfit. When I brought it out for her to see, she just looked it up and down and said NUTHING! I said, "It's pretty isn't it?" and she conceded it was, but was mad because she didn't remember going shopping, or the outfit, Oh well, I can't do anything about that.

Then I got a text that I should bring 2 extra pads and a pull-up, and a pair of Nannie's tan pants, just-in-case. Her outfit is a pink pants suit, and a pretty (light weight) blouse. I had to take the blouse I chose for ME the other day, back to the store so they could take the plastic theft-proofing thing that makes the door alarm if you leave with it without paying for something. I heard the alarm and turned around and looked, but no employee arrived, so I figured it wasn't caused by me. It alarmed again when I walked back into the store this afternoon, and nobody paid any attention that time, either.  I am glad I noticed it today instead of finding out about it when I get dressed tomorrow.

It is 7:45 and I have to do something for Nannie's supper, which she says she is not hungry for. Maybe a big tray of desserts, eh?

Bleh. I give up. I think I have married into an odd strange family, but they prolly think hubby married an odd, strange woman (me). Ppfftt!

*sigh* I wish it was already Sunday so this will be over and done with.
