Work was pretty good yesterday, a fairly quiet day, a good day to end the week. The counselor had to cancel as her dog had died, so I used my lunch hour to run an errand before the heat of the afternoon. Stayed in and exercised, as it was about 101 by early evening.
Still trying to get next year's reunion sorted out, we might go a week earlier than planned, to try and accommodate everyone's schedules
Tried absinthe last night, I really like the flavor, although it didn't turn me into an artist or a novelist or cause me to want to move to Montmarte or the left bank of the Seine ?
Have today off, will go out bird watching early, then will drive into the city to the Art Institute, which I haven't been to in years
Will a much cooler day too, in the lower 80s
