Fresno City 2018 LVN to RN

Hello everyone,

First time posting a topic on here. I was just selected to the Fresno City College LVN to RN program that starts June 2018. Is there any other fellow LVN's who were accepted? Also any RN's that are currently in the program with any advise on what to refresh on. AAAAhhhhh Im so excited.

You turn in your receipt for castle branch and all immunization documentation.

when you first pay for castle branch. It emails you a receipt.

You can also access the receipt from you documents in castle branch.

I went to the bookstore today and I was told the red pants have to be purchased from the bookstore. I also met some girls going into 4th semester and they said Admin will come in and check. They look for the signature white dove on the back pocket of pants. If they don't see it you will be out of uniform. They will write you up and you will have to get the pants from the bookstore. Just trying to save you some money. Buy the pants from the bookstore.

Aww seriously! I already ordered some red pants from somewhere else! Did they say anything else about the program?

Yes, they said we shouldn't take extra classes if we don't plan on being a L&D nurse.

Yes! I have mixed feelings! Change is freaking me out right now. Leaving my job of 17 years, working less, starting the program etc. But overall I know this move will be worth it in the end.

Since we are already took maternity we don't have to take it in the Fall.
