That one should hopefully work(:

Curious for those in the fall 2024 cohort.... When did they drug test you? I occasionally smoke weed every once in a while for back pain and headaches and even though it's legal here in California, I know a drug test is part of the process before the program starts. I have some friends who have went through the program but no one remembers when the drug test took place. Did they require it shortly after orientation or did they give you time after orientation to get it taken care of, is so, how much? I've heard from fall that test weren't yet due by the first day of class this year

would appreciate any insight anyone can give me 😊

I heard from people in the fall cohort that drug tests and other requirements are going to happen pretty early on. We will be doing skills labs for the first 8 weeks of school and then we start clinical rotations in the 9th week. So we'll have to have our drug test, TB test, blood work...etc completed before then. We have orientation Nov 14th and they'll go over all of that with us at that time. I heard there's a lot of rules and requirements to abide by along with strict uniform requirements. So be prepared and open for anything.

Thanks Tiffany, but I'm actually looking to hear back specifically from fall cohort. I am lucky enough to have 3 friends who have completed the program so I'm pretty well aware of what to expect as far as uniforms, rules and requirements and know for sure it has to happen before clinical rotations or entering a new hospital. However I know that they still weren't drug tested by the first day of school this Fall semester, so I'm trying to get more specific insight. That way I can make sure I have atleast 3 months to detox from any smoking, which isn't possible if I wait till orientation and they plan on testing before class starts for some reason. But thank you 🙂

Around a month or so before the start of the semester you'll get an email about setting up an account with American Data Base. The website will automatically complete the background check, and you will schedule your drug test through there. If you have a similar timeliness to us, everything will be due around 2 weeks before the semester starts. Hopefully your cohort has a better time than ours did because the director of the program left and they were scrambling.

ADB is also where you will submit proof of your vaccinations, proof of car insurance, physical exam, and a few other things. Don't get your TB tests done early because you have to have them done within 90 days of starting clinicals, which is week 10

Oh no! Have they found a replacement? I saw something on the handbook that the FCC nursing department are having visitors in December re evaluated or reaccredited, something like that. Is that true?

My name is Leslie and I  Just joined the FCC facebook group! Please add meeee. 🙂

@AboutTimeIgotSelected for COS did any of the alternates get called that you know of those times that you were an alternate twice?

Congrats to everyone!! I was scrolling tiktok and I stumbled upon a FCC student (she didn't mention she was going to FCC but she was wearing a Fresno city shirt to class so I assumed") She does "DITL"" vlogs and also answers other peoples questions. She is, I believe in her 3rd semester in the program. Just thought you guys might be interested because it motivated me. This is her @ohmine05  on tiktok.

Hi Everyone!

Are the any students in the program now that do not have their Covid Vaccine?
