Who’s applying?!! Is anyone else having issues filling out the online application? I keep getting an internal error message when I try to make edits. How many of you are repeat applicants? This is my first time applying. How many people are predicted to apply?

I am reapplying and getting the same error message. I tried to call and email but no response yet.. It’s only giving me the error message on step 2 but I don’t want to risk any mistakes that would make me ineligible.

What do you mean? Were you having technical difficulties applying? I applied over a week ago. I recieve the confirmation email.

Yes the first few times I tried I kept getting internal error but I think it was just so many people trying at once. I was able to apply and send my documents last week as well.

I was able to apply first day, it took a while but it finally worked. This is my second time applying so fingers crossed.

Good luck! Has your application status changed to completed or anything? Or does all of that start happening until after the application deadline?

So far nothing has changed. My hunch is they don’t even look at applications until after the deadline which to me is kind of crazy. The process would probably be faster if they looked at them as they came.

Does anyone know how many points you need to have from the Multiple Criteria Selection process in order to be put into the lottery? And how do they calculate it for each category?

Don’t quote me on this but looking at notes from an allied health club meeting where we had Michelle Hoff speak, it was 50? As long as you meet the minimum requirements you’re in the lotto, you aren’t going to have a higher chance with more points unfortunately.

Hi all, I applied this week as a first time applicant. I spoke with a counselor recently and she said there are currently about 800 applicants for 220 spots (110 each in Fall and Spring). Not all will be eligible once they look at who met the requirements, but that’s where it is right now. Just passing along what I’ve heard since I know we’re all curious. :)

Eeeek! ?that’s a lot of applicants! And many wait until last minute! However, let’s hope we have good luck! Prayers to all!
