Fingers crossed they do it tomorrow, but I feel like it will be closer to the end of the week, just because so many were still pending on Friday... this is my last shot for a program this year.. so I am praying I get in this one, I  got denied from the other 3 programs I applied to, so feeling pretty discouraged right now ?

What??! Were they lottery or merit based? What are your stats? I‘ve applied to 3. FCC is first one I’m getting results from and I’ll apply to one more next month.

Fresno State, West Hills and COS.. they are all merit based but this must have been super competitive . I got a 89 on the TEAS and my GPA is 3.60 so not competitive enough I guess. I have a friend who calculated his points to be at 91 for West Hills and he didn’t get in not even as an alternate. Where have you applied and where are you applying next month?

I've applied to modesto, merced and fresno. I'll apply to cos when Spring applications come out. My stats are similar to yours. 91 TEAS and 3.5 GPA

This is my first time applying everywhere, so I know it is lucky to get in on your first try and wasn’t really expecting to but I am 39 and will be 40 this year, so I feel like time is ticking and I am not getting any younger LOL. I am in a CNA program right now and will graduate next month, so hopefully if I don’t get in to FCC this time, that will help boost my points for next time. I was going to apply to COS for Spring as well since I will have the added points from the CNA.

Oh nice! Have you been a SAHM? I have a BA but have stayed home with my kids (2 boys) since they were born. I’m also a substitute teacher so I do that occasionally when the mood strikes. I wouldn’t mind not being accepted this year since my youngest is only 2 and still breastfeeding. I’d like to get in when he’s closer to 4.

I’ll be 32 at the end of the year. I personally think going into the health field after living a little gives us the ability to relate to people on a deeper level.

I agree.. being a little older, I have definitely had many life experiences that I feel will help. I have been a SAHM mom, worked part time and worked full time as a preschool teacher since raising my kids, I have a 19, 15 and 7 year old. I have also worked with special education as a sub but since Covid have had to stay home to homeschool my daughter. I have always wanted to be a nurse but life kinda got in the way and I just the last two years was able to finally go back to school and start working on that dream.. yeah you still have a little one, so so can see how you wouldn’t mind waiting a little longer.

Just here to comment that I'm still pending as of Sunday night before the lottery week starts. LOL

Wonder if it’s appropriate for someone to email when the lotto will be conducted? I know it says week of the 19-23, but would like to get a real estimate.

I would like to know as well... as of this morning my evaluation status is still pending, so I am wondering if they are still processing applications and for that reason, I feel like it won't be today

I know there are a lot of people still pending, so I don’t think it will happen today.
