Starting a thread for applicants in 2021 year.

Did you attend any of the workshops that Ms. Helfgot held on zoom? The only reason I made a note of it is because she actually SAID it would get us disqualified. I was thinking that seemed extreme. A lot of people got disqualified from that. My computer automatically filled in my personal email in both spaces.

Yes, I attended the 2nd workshop but I feel like she just brushed through it. I didn’t catch that then either. I was so mad at myself, Learning experience tho. I can only blame myself.

It seems like you're applying to a lot of programs though. So I'm sure you won't wait too long to start a program. I should be studying biochem, instead I'm totally wasting time on Allnurses LOL

That’s how I was last year, when I first applied, completely jobless, no classes to take, the pandemic just started and my parents were in Tennessee it was an ultra depressing/anxious time. I actually got a call about my current job literally like a month after the lotto was drawn. I’m anxious to know because my job is in OC, and they’re planning to return to office in September, would like to know what I’m moving back to as I currently am staying with my mom and stepdad in Tennessee right now due to my job being remote.

I have a quick question, does anyone know an exact date we will get to know our results from FCC because it's only saying the week of April 19th?

The 23rd. But it could be later. It just depends on when they finish all the applications.

Hi all.  FCC RN Program's goal is to have all status updates posted on April 19th.  Worst case scenario, they may be posted on April 23rd.  There were over 1100 applicants this year versus the 860+ from last year.  Might I recommend, reduce checking your status from three times a day to once a day during the week of April 19th.  Also, as soon as the counselors assigned to reviewing applications are done, their appointment schedules will open up the week of April 19th into the last week of May.

PS... "Chose from the list" is part of a toggle on the admin side where they have to "choose" from a list of notification options (Pending, Selected, Unselected, Alternate).

Just wanted to update everybody, my status finally changed to eligible today! First time applicant last name starts with M. 
I feel a huge relief. Now just waiting game for the actual lottery.

It says the week of the 19th, so it could be the 19-23rd, which sucks! Fingers crossed they post results on the 19th!
