Starting a thread for applicants in 2021 year.

Ya it went from “The lottery hasn’t been conducted” to that. It also says on the message on the main site that unselected are encouraged to meet with a counselor to discuss meeting their academic goals, are they upping the requirements next year? Or is that blanket for the people who were ineligible. Because all my meetings with counselors were just, it’s just luck of the draw, you’re eligible and can’t make yourself more eligible.

No I was just complete /pending on the evaluation status, didn’t get the lottery tab until I was unselected which was on Wednesday.. but up until right it said unselected but that the lottery had not been conducted yet, then it changed to what I posted... so I am assuming it’s all final and done now and they are just updating the last of the statuses for everyone.

It would be great if they changed it so repeat applicants can have a better shot but who knows .. they do everything all wonky

They did do it so your 4th try you automatically get in, I don’t know when they changed it.

This is no longer true. Maybe a long time ago. This is my 5th time in the lottery. Before 2018, applicants had to apply every semester so they only drew for 1 cohort. Beginning 2018, you apply once a year and they draw for 2 cohorts. My 1st time was a 1 cohort draw, then 2nd and so forth was 2 cohorts draws. Still unselected this year. Sad to say..
