French nursing student looking to do some time in the UK

Hi everyone ! I'm Sophie, I'm a french nurse student, I'm finishing my first year. I'm really interested in United Kingdom. I'd like to spend one year there in a nurse school for my second or my third year. Antoine, could you explain me how did you do it ? It's really important for me, I'don't find anything on internet when I'm look for information.

You may have problems going mid schooling to a UK university and participate in nursing due to the nature of how the courses are run. Best thing would probably discuss with a university where you are hoping to live and see if you can set up some form of exchange but may not be for the 12 months you are looking at

Thanks Silverdragon102 ! Do you think I can go to a english school just for a couple of month ? Because I will miss a couple of month of my french school, so I will have repeat my whole school year (It's no big deal). I will make some research... Do you know any university which can accept a french student ?

Hi Sophie

Not sure if your fixed on where abouts in the UK you want to go to but I know that university in Glasgow offers student exchanges which involve you studying at our university and working in our hospitals for up to 12 weeks. They have official exchanges set up with many european universities so that your time here will count towards your course at home.
