Free CNA training in Texas

Hello everyone! I live in Central Texas close to Temple....I am wondering if anyone knows of any nursing homes that offer CNA training in the Temple area. Or I have been thinking about moving to Port Arthur, if anyone knows of nursing homes that offer free CNA training in the Port Arthur area please let me know. Thanks for your time!

I am 20 years old and trying to decide what I am going to do in my life. I did want to open and run a day care center but after babysitting kids everyday for the past 2 years I have decided that childcare really isnt for me. When I was in high school I use to volunteer with the actvities director at a local nursing home and I really had a great time with the elderly so I think working in a nursing home would be great!

Most all nursing homes give classes but you have to work for them for at least 6 months after. Call local community colleges and ask if they have any grants.
