the national association of free clinics (nafc) will be sponsoring a one day free medical clinic for the uninsured on wednesday, august 4, 2010.
the dc c.a.r.e. clinic will offer basic medical care and health education. being a volunteer at this event will give you the opportunity to help thousands of people gain access to medical screening and care they otherwise may not receive.
volunteer information:
we currently have volunteer opportunities for medical and non-medical volunteers for the following shift times:
tuesday, august 3rd - set-up
first shift 9:00am - 1:00pm
second shift 1:00pm - 5:00pm
wednesday, august 4th - clinic
all day 9:00am - 9:00pm
first shift 9:00am - 3:30pm
second shift 2:30pm - 9:00pm

out of state nurses/nurse practitioners (rn,aprn, fnp) - as a professional courtesy the district of columbia board of nursing does not require nurses and nurse practitioners providing care in the district for a brief period of time to be licensed in the district. please fax a copy of your license to 866-875-3827 or you may scan and email to [email protected]
