Forming Nursing Research Question with PICOT

Does longitudinal integration of nutrition in the curriculum impact health care professionals’ and/or patient health outcomes (e.g., diet, physical activity, and chronic disease risk)?

This is what I want my nursing research question to be, but I don't know what template to use for it (see the attached picture of the description of types of questions).

To me, the question looks like it needs more refinement. It's kind'a "all over the place," including multiple topics in one question. Focusing on something more specific and clarify your question first.

You seem to be asking whether including nutrition information into a curriculum will:

1. have an effect on the health care provider's health outcomes

2. have an effect on the patients' health outcomes

So... you have 2 study populations (both providers and patients) and you never specify the type of nutrition information you would include or the type of health outcomes that you are looking for. Clarify exactly what your question is: then you might have an easier time finisihing your assignment.

o-outcome

t-timeframe

such as: do nursing students (p) who receive formal nutrition courses every semester eat less calories a day (I) than students who have only one nutrition course (c) after 4 semesters of nursing school (t)?
