Hey everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone is interested in doing this Forensic Health Science Certificate at Seneca? I'm trying to do this certificate and it doesn't seem like there is much interest or maybe not enough people know about it. I'm trying to take the first course which runs very soon, it's over two weekends November 12, 13, 14 and November 25, 26, 27 2010.
Is anyone interested? I think they need 4 more people to register to have this course run (FHS 560). There are only 6 courses needed to be completed to receive the certificate. Here is a description from the website:
"This program will assist health care and law enforcement professionals to develop expertise in their practice. They are often involved in situations where they are required to assess and provide professional assistance to victims of crime. As a result of advances in forensic science, it has become necessary for providers of health care services to incorporate forensic principles into their practices in order to ensure that not only is the client receiving a high standard of care, but also that forensic evidence is appropriately documented and preserved for subsequent legal proceedings."

To obtain the certificate, six courses must be completed.
Two mandatory courses (FHS560 and FHS561) plus four out of the five elective courses.
