Foreign RN with deficiency in obstetrics

Published

I am a Norwegian Registered Nurse and im currently seeking RN licensure in the state of Georgia. Their Board of Nursing deemed my educational program deficient of hours in obstetrics. Therefore, im told to enroll in and pass a RN course (classroom and clinical components) in obstetrics.

Has anyone any suggestions of one or more facilities that offers such a course in obstetrics-one that actually is directed for foreign nurses with deficiency in obstetrics.

Anyone with the same experiences? If so, how did you go forth?

What is the passing score for TOEFL?The Board of Registered Nursing requires the following minimum passing scores for TOEFL in each of the following sections:

Also it is important for all to know that if you are a doctor from Philippines or any other country for that matter, you will not be made eligible to take the Nclex Rn exam for the California board of registered nursing.

So do not waste your time and money applying to California Brn.

It is better to apply to the board of vocational nursing in California and get approved and take the Nclex LVN exam for CA because as per the LVN regulations they can evaluate your application based on both experience in the medical field and education in it.
