Foreign Education

are there foreign programs equivellent to those of nursing anethesia programs in the us?

the ifna website lists several countries and their nursing anesthesia education & practices.

http://ifna-int.org/ifna/page.php?35

when i checked on the aana website the only other country they had listed was puerto rico. i'm wondering if this list is only accredited institutions in america?

I am not sure why you are looking for this information because you MUST graduate from a COA (Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs) in order to take the Certification Exam to become a CRNA. Even if you completed a foreign program you would still need to complete an accredited (COA) program in the US or Puerto Rico to take the cerification exam and be entitled to use the CRNA credential and practice as one in the US.
