Good day fellas! This is to inspire foreign graduate, graduated many years ago and those who lose their hope. I'm a Philippine graduate 10 years ago. I graduated June 2006 and passed the same year. I worked for 2 years as a company nurse until I decided to work abroad for 6 years. Then, I migrated here in US September last year, after CGFNS CES report and passed NCLEX after 6 months of processing I finally got my ATT last May. I'm studying for 10-12 hours/ day(not-therapeutic for some). Here are some of the materials I used:
1. Saunders 3rd edition- yes you read it right. My husband just bought it in 2nd hand bookstore because I don't want to waste a lot of money on books. I read it cover to cover.
2. NCSBN 3-week course. Brush up of content and I felt so depressed when I got 40% on pre-test when I finished Qbanks of 1350 questions I got only 63% 90th percentile. I have read here in allnurses about Uworld.
3. Uworld-this is a very helpful question banks with a very good rationale. I got only 52.7% 64th percentile and I felt very frustrated but please its a lesson learned. DONT RELY ON THE SCORES. LEARN FROM EVERY CORRECT AND WRONG QUESTIONS!
4.Kaplan Qtrainers 1-7-this was given by my good friend and I felt that Kaplan Qbank is easier because I got 63% 98.3 percentile. I felt relieved. :)
5. Saunders-my good friend shares her 6th edition of Qbanks and Im getting 68% to 85% which is really satisfying.
6. Uworld again- I'm not satisfied with my Uworld scores so I subscribe qbank again using my other email to measure my knowledge. Fortunately, I got 76.3% 97th percentile because some of the questions are already familiar to me so that is expected.
I took the exam last Saturday, and by 1100H my name is already at BON site.
LESSON:THERE'S NO EXACT REVIEW MATERIAL WHO WILL SPOONFEED YOU WITH ANSWERS. YOU NEED TO WORK HARD AND ASNWER AS MUCH AS YOU CAN AND THINGS WILL ALWAYS BE WORTH IT.

I think your name ends up on the BON site anyway since mine has been there since I took the test on Tuesday morning. I tested at 8am and checked it before 10am (pretty much right after I got out of the test) and my name was there with pending next to it...so I'm not sure how much comfort I take from that at this point. And if you read the PV site it is 48 BUSINESS hours for quick results so it could take quite a bit longer to get anything since there's only 8 business hours in a day...I hate waiting for test results. All through school our instructors graded exams immediately so I'm used to knowing...
I took my exam Saturday which is not a good idea. I didn't try PVT tricks and Quick results. I just called the BON. :)
I think it depends on your state. I tested in VA and I got results the following morning by calling the BON. There was an automated system and it said I was licensed. By day two after I tested, my name was on the website with a license number.
I took my exam by Saturday and since its weekend the result was already at BON 1100H. It all depends actually with the state.
