Thanks for the responses, guys!
I just finished NCSBN's Q Bank 2 (Pharmacology) and got an average of 65%. I was only able to get a 75% on 1/4 lol. These questions are really hard but I do believe NCSBN's questions will prepare us well for the real thing!
I'll keep you guys updated on my scores.
Hi! Im taking my exam next week as well and my kaplan scores were similar to yours. Im also using NCSBN and I have to say that I HATE their quizzes! I scored much lower on them then I have on Kaplans and find questions confusing/ hard to understand.
May I ask what your scores are for both Kaplan & NCSBN?
On question trainers 1-5 I averaged anywhere from 50-60%.. I got 55% on question trainer 6 and 60% on question trainer 7. I completed 1200 questions from the Qbank with a 62%. I got 42% on NCBSNs pretest.. .. My scores as far as their quizzes go have been the most disapointing.. I still havent completed their entire course yet but hope to in the next few days..

For Kaplan Q Trainers, people have said that you have a pretty good chance if you score > 60% on Q 6 & 7. It seems like you're on the right track!
How far are you in NCSBN? Personally, I'm not going through the lectures. I just took the pre-test and I went straight to the Q Bank sections.
I was getting worried when I took NCSBN's Q Bank #1 because I was scoring below the passing grade. But as I went on to Q Bank 2 (and now on 3), my scores are going above the passing grade. I just finished the first two folders of Q Bank 3 and was able to score > 75% for both. I think the key in answering these questions is knowing test taking strategies because I noticed that they rephrase a lot of identical questions together to which all should have the same answer.
I say try to study core content first before you go further in answering questions.
My scores as far as their quizzes go have been the most disapointing..
And I didn't want to take the quizzes because I wanted to see the rationale right after I answered the question lol. I get frustrated mimicking an "actual" exam without knowing what the right answer is (immediately after answering each question)

Hi guys,
I scored a 56% on NCSBN's pre-test (I took this last night and I was literally half asleep). I just finished the first post-test and was only able to get a score of >75% on 2 out of the 8! (There are 9 total but I decided to skip one post-test folder for Q Bank 1)
I also have Kaplan Q Trainers and here are my scores so far:
Q1: 53%
Q2: 67%
Q3: 59%
Q4: 58%
(Taking Q5-7 in a few days...)
I took the 180 question test on the CD that came with the Kaplan 2011-2012 Reviews, Strategies book and was able to score a 72%
For LaCharity, I score anywhere from mid 60s to low 70s. My highest score was a 91% on the electrolyte chapter.
I take my test next week and I'm really nervous because the NCSBN tests (even though I just finished q bank 1) really dropped my confidence level. Do you guys think I'm ready to take the test? Or should I reschedule?
I really just want assurance.
And please don't respond telling me to "not worry about scores" because.. to be honest, some people just HAVE to worry. It's a way of keeping myself sane. And I do read rationales for every question.
Any advice would be appreciated! :)
