What are your thoughts on the DNP thing? I am confused. I know I want to become a CNM eventually. I would ideally like to work as an RN for a few years first, but my understanding is that all AP Nursing will be moving to DNP level by 2015 (right?) Would it be smarter to move straight through the MSN and slide in under the deadline? I would think that a lot of people will be doing that as the time line gets nearer and will make those programs even more competitive.
Anyone else considering how this will impact their future ed plans?
