Tomorrow makes one week since my interview. I emailed the nurse manager and thanked her the day after my interview. I don't want to seem pushy, so how can I follow up via email to let her know I'm really interested without making her feel like I'm trying too hard? The market is REALLY tight in my area and I just really want this positon!

Call next. I was sure I didn't get the job I applied for as an LPN this winter, but I called and spoke to the person I interviewed the day after she told me they'd be making a decision and I hadn't heard. She called back right away and told me they hadn't made a decision yet. After that, I left messages about once a week (with an update on my NCLEX/license status) and finally after I was offered the job she was able to tell me there were some internal issues that had to be resolved.

So...you never know, but keep your name fresh in there minds with a phone call.
