I'm having a Fluid/Electrolytes, Perioperative Care and IV therapy test soon.
I think I have a grips on F/E but I want some testing questions to try out. I know the orange NCLEX book by Mosby has some F/E questions but I want more. Any help?

We are not going to be studying Fluid and Electrolytes for another 2 weeks, but some of my classmates (who know other RNs) have already bought and are reading Fluid and Electrolytes Made Incredibly Easy. I went on amazon.com and read the review and they are all positive. I just ordered the book myself to get a head start. You may want to consider picking up a copy to help you along.

I hope this isn't considering advertising b/c I really want to say I love this book..
google "nursing reviews and rationales" series. The publisher is a bigwig, two worded, last word Hall.
Also, wikipedia does a damn good job of explaining it. Be careful with wikipedia though. You kind of have to know whats up first and use it as a guide, NOT to teach.
other good workbooks "fundamentals to success" and "med-surg success"
Try learning by RATIONALES and not by textbooks. Text will only explain, rationales guide and develop your critical thinking ability to nail test questions.
Always remember to WHAT IS THE QUESTION ASKING YOU! ABCs, Maslow's!
PM me with specific questions and I can try to help.
:) Good luck
Thanks so much, yes I'd like rationales better than just sitting and reading the textbook. JustKeepSmiling- I LOVE your username!!
Know of any rationale books for F/E?

Lol JustKeepSmiling just told you, but they didnt wanna outright say the name so they hinted at it instead. It's "Fluids, Electrolytes, and Acid Base Balance: Reviews and Rationales" from Prentice Hall.

Ditto friend.
Thanks for the kudos! :)
The entire PH review series is AWESOME! The patho, med-surg, etc.
20-30 +sh on ebay.
Ebay is my best friend.
Wow, that was a super blonde moment for me. I looked it up also, and ordered it from Barnes and Nobles. $39 new and then I got 1-3 day shipping because my test is on the 20th so it better get here in time. :)
Nooo! You could've got it for $30 on Amazon with free 2 day shipping. But if you already ordered it I guess there's no turning back. But for future reference, Amazon has free 2 day shipping for students (in case you didnt already know). Good luck on your test!
B&N had free 2 day shipping as well.
