Who is planning to enroll in the nursing program next doing spring or fall?
I'm planning to enroll in fall 2015. I'm currently doing my perquisites this summer and I plan to almost finished by next spring. The only class I will have pending will be A&P II which I hope to take over the next summer session.
So who is joining me? It's going to long year of waiting and I simply can not wait to get into nursing program.
I hope to apply into Lee but might consider Charlotte since technically it's closer to me.
Is there anyone in this thread that is applying for FSW's transitions program (formerly known as AP nursing/Bridge Program at Edison State) for either Spring 2015 or Fall 2015? I haven't been able to find much of anything about the transitions program on allnurses.com... hoping to find at least one person lol

Yeah I applied and got into the transition program for spring 2015 at Lee!!
Has anyone heard anything at all about signing up for classes? I'm thinking we won't be able to until orientation.
I do not think we can register until we get out packages. I mean everything cleared for me last week. I was told to wait if I have to renew my BLS because they answer the question in the package. More info I guess.
And orientation is optional and not required but beneficial.
I mean if thy say the same thing I know or I cant make it, it wont harm me. But I get to get whoever is in my class.

Ahh, I see. I'm just going to keep checking and see when my major changes from Pre-Nursing to Nursing. That's when it'll allow us to sign up for classes since there's a major restriction when you try right now.

Girls I know this might sound dumb, but I was just going over all the things I need it to get done, and I am a little confused, maybe you guys can help me. I pay the $87 and did the fingerprints, and drug test. now, I am trying to figure out if the background check is something that it was not include in that $87 package or if is done by the info that I submitted when I pay the $87 or is done by the fingerprints? sorry to ask this, I know it sounds totally dumb, but now I am kind of worried that I might have missed that. please if anyone can explain this to me I would really appreciate it.

The $87 covers both the fingerprints and drug test. You don't have to pay anything and the school receives both results since you signed up for them. As long as you do everything and it's cleared, you should be fine!

Do you think the background test is something different from the other two? All we need is the fingerprint and drug test and that's technically our "background test". :)

Me neither!! I feel like a lot of people in my class are not getting their tests done because I emailed the main person at Lee and she said she would send out an email once everyone in my class clears but I haven't received anything yet...lol
