Who is planning to enroll in the nursing program next doing spring or fall?
I'm planning to enroll in fall 2015. I'm currently doing my perquisites this summer and I plan to almost finished by next spring. The only class I will have pending will be A&P II which I hope to take over the next summer session.
So who is joining me? It's going to long year of waiting and I simply can not wait to get into nursing program.
I hope to apply into Lee but might consider Charlotte since technically it's closer to me.
I was told by someone that they will have the meeting next week and the phone calls will go out 2 weeks from that meeting. If we do not get in they will send us a letter. They have busy I was told. This was information I received from someone in the nursing program who asked about the status of applicants.
So they really are stretching out the time. That puts us at the end of October. I have a feeling that if we get in, it will be a rush to get everything ready for us to start. But they may call us earlier still. It could put us past four weeks still But i still dont think they can wait too long.
That's crazy! That puts us over the four week timeline. I really hope that person heard wrong or something lol that is way too long to make us wait. Especially since there were a lot more people applying in the fall and they heard in like 2-3 weeks.
Yeah, I know. I hope it doesn't take the extra 2 weeks from the meeting (I doubt it will) but I was told it was because they have been busy. So hopefully they meet and make phone calls the next day. I had a feeling that I would be part of the group that would take all 4 weeks to decide:facepalm:

I feel like they should have cleared things near when the deadline was so that they could get everything over with. If they don't say anything by Friday then I will email them and find out exactly what's going on.

Yeah, in my perfect world they would have told us already. I'm pretty sure we will know within the 4 weeks of the application deadline. I'm just bummed it's taking them so long. Hopefully the saying "good things happen to those who wait" applies to us all. :)

I sure hope so! Lol I don't want to have to get everything ready at the last minute.
I called over there and the meeting actually happened yesterday!
Really?? Yes! lol Now hopefully they will start making calls at least starting Monday. I wouldn't think they would need to do much more after the meeting.

Yeah, I saw the thread too. I'm thinking it depends on how many people there are. They may call the ones with the highest points and then the others get emails but I'm not too sure. How many points did you have? I have 79 so I'll probably be in the email group if that's how they do it.
But i still dont think they can wait too long.
