The comment wasn't really that bad. Posting pictures of a patient is a different story, though..

How are people still getting in trouble for doing this? You figure with all the stories about privacy violations people will figure out it's a bad idea.

She obviously hasn't spent very much time on allnurses reading stories written by shocked nurses fired for HIPAA violations even if they believe they have layers of "privacy" protections on their social media accounts.

It appears as though someone reported her posts to her employer, so if her account was private she trusted the wrong person.
