Florida Hospital Graduate Nurse 2016

Hello all!

I've been watching forums on this site for quite some time, and now I'm in the position where I have passed the NCLEX and begun to apply to jobs. I applied to Florida Hospital's June/July/August 2016 Graduate Nurse program and received an email to do a digital interview. I think this is new for Florida Hospital to utilize and was wondering if anyone else has received a similar email from them?

From other forums, people say they look at their submission and it says "under initial review", which I'm confused about because for submission status, for me, it says "Completed" and there's no where else to really look ...

I'm crossing my fingers for the opportunity to be interviewed!

Congrats on passing the NCLEX! I take it in June. Mine says completed as well. Did you receive a phone call from a recruiter? Have you already been hired?

Hi there, so it's been two weeks and everything was at a stand still so I called HR at a few of their locations and asked if their recruiter had received my information yet and it turns out that's what got the ball rolling.. Until I did that, they hadn't been putting my info out for GN positions so I'm waiting to be called by unit managers now.

Health Central in Orlando also takes new grads btw, not sure if you're currently looking

They asked questions pertaining to how you would carry out the hospital's mission, they wanted you to give an example based on one of their values (provided in the question), what would you do if a patient wanted you to pray with them, what would you bring to FH, stuff like that, and then some multiple choice for where you're interested/what shift you'd like, etc. there were only 11-13 questions total and you record yourself and can rewatch it. You also have a chance to re-record yourself if the first one didn't come out good, before moving on to the next one.

Hi, I am about to do the digital interview, would you possibly go over some other questions that were asked. I'm so nervous!!!

It wasn't that bad really. They asked me maybe 12 questions, 6 of them were just to answer things like shift (day/nihgt), hospital that you prefer, and the others the usual, why nursing, why florida hospital, how will you be compassionate toward patients. You'll have 2 opportunities to record your message. You'll be fine.
