Don't know the program you're asking about, sorry. Don't live in Florida, but there have been numerous posts over time detailing the low pay and the saturated market for nurses, particularly new grads in Florida. Seems you can't swing a dead cat without hitting one. Maybe there are pockets in the State where it's better...?
Where did you move from, and why did you think the employment outlook would be good in Jacksonville? Competition is going to be steep no matter what, I'd think, and you're competing against those who did clinicals (and have networked) at the same hospitals that have never heard of you.

Hello everyone! I recently moved to Jacksonville and I have applied for a lot of jobs with no luck. I applied to Florida Hospital Flagler (although it is an hour drive from me) for their New Nurse Residency Program. Has anyone gone through this program? If so, what was it like?? Does anyone have any tips/suggestions?
I have also applied to Mayo Clinic's New Nurse Residency Program, but I know it is extremely competitive.
