Hey guys! I haven’t seen a thread for FGCU CRNA 2023. I was just curious to see who will be applying! I’m planning on getting my CCRN in September, so I cannot apply until then!

Calls going out for acceptance

I got a call. Congrats and good luck to everyone

I got an acceptance call as well!

Haven’t received anything yet. Trying to stay positive!

Got my call like an hour ago. Good luck to everyone!

Congratulations to everyone! It seems like previous cohorts have made private FB groups to keep in touch. I made one so we can help each other out ? it’s called FGCU DNP Nurse Anesthesiology class of 2026

Specializes in cardiac ICU.

I know some acceptance calls went out yesterday but they said they still had more to do!

I applied last year and didn't get in because of my GRE score, I'll be applying in august again ?

Hi! For some reason I'm not able to PM people, but I was wondering how you knew that your GRE score prevented you from getting in? I took the GRE and got 149V, 165Q, and 4.5 writing and I think one of your previous posts said you got a 149V as well. I'm planning to apply, but will I definitely not get in with that GRE score?

Thank you in advance!

So a couple of years ago when I applied for the first time I barely met the GRE requirements, but I still got an interview. I know I didn't get in bc my interview wasn't great and my nerves got there best of me. I was waitlisted though. I didn't take the GRE again for this round but did do other things like take graduate level classes. The GRE was created by satan himself and I refuse to sit through it again LOL

First off, thank you SO much for responding on an old thread. I really do appreciate it.

When you say you barely met the GRE requirements, what do you mean? Because I think the verbal min requirement is 153, but I got a 149, so technically I didn't even meet the min. My quant was 165 so I def killed that and the writing portion. But I'm really nervous about my verbal portion.

I don't quite remember my scores, but I know I got like one point less on the quantitative portion and exactly what they wanted on the reading/writing portion. Maybe you could re-do just the reading/writing part? I only redid the math portion to still be off be a point LOL

I don't think you can retake just a portion of it! It has to be the whole GRE 😭

And the deadline is 7/31 LOL so I won't have time to retake the whole thing and get my scores sent before the deadline ugh
