Florida Atlantic University (FAU) FNP Program

Specializes in ER.

Hi all,

I'm applying to FAU's FNP program to start in Fall of this year. Just wondering how my chances of acceptance sound and if anyone has any information on their experience with this program.

I graduated from FAU's BSN program in 2017. Graduated with a 3.8. I now have 6 years of experience in the ER/Peds ER.

I participate in multiple hospital committees and have a letter of recommendation from a physician I work with.

Any and all insight is appreciated !

Hi! I don't really have an answer for you but was wondering if you had heard back from the school?

Hi, no not yet. But since the app doesn't close until 2/15 I don't expect to hear back until after then.

Thanks for the update. I think I read a thread where the BSN-DNP applicants were hearing back already and were already doing interviews so was curious if this was also the case for MSN.

It looks like the BSN to DNP deadline was February 1st!

Yes but they were having interviews at the end of January so I thought that was interesting.

That is interesting! Well nope, nothing yet here. Did you apply?

Yes I did! But I only submitted yesterday so I'm not expecting to hear back for a bit.

Congratulations and good luck ! Hopefully we'll be classmates!

Are there interviews for the MSN-FNP too?

I'm almost certain from what I heard from previous cohorts, although it's not mentioned on the website.

Guess we'll find out soon enough! I unfortunately was unable to attend any of the virtual information sessions, so I've just been going off of the website and not entirely sure what to expect! I'm surprised there isn't more activity in this thread!
