Hi there, I hope someone can help. I am a medical oncologist currently working in Italy. There is a nurse student that is preparing her thesis and she would need and like to discuss specific issue related to Nightingale teachings and legacy and their role in today's Uk nursery school. Could you please suggest any tips? Either someone that can be interested in email exchange or maybe a forum. Thank you in advance for your reply. Kind regards, Rosa Giuliani

Not in the UK, but I suggest that she get a copy of Florence's Notes on Nursing, What It Is and What It Is Not and start from there. If she hasn't read that original seminal work, she's already at a disadvantage. She can see all it online (in English) at http://digital.library.upenn.edu/women/nightingale/nursing/nursing.html
