FIU Nursing program

I applied for the fall of 2012 for florida International University and am just anxiously waiting for the answer if i got in. I have a 4.0 gpa, did some volunteer hours, my video came out alright :/ and pretty much passed my HESI so there's a good chance I might get in, if there is anyone out there that has done the program and or is currently in it could shed some light on how the program is. Also, advice if any on preparing before entering the program. Any information would be appreciated!

HAHA!!! Well, that's what friends are for ;)

You're right! I'm sure they are waiting for grades. :/ My friend, who has now completed a year, told me Last year she found out around June 8th. I guess last year they didn't wait for summer A students.

I just wish then that they would have made the app. deadline June 1st or something. That way, they can say decisions will be out at the end of the month (like they're currently saying), but it doesn't FEEL like you've been waiting so long, lol.

btw, the other day when I called, they told me they send out an email with the decisions on our applications. So maybe we'll find out before the packet in the mail gets to us!!!

no no no!!!! They WILL send them out! lol, didn't mean to scare you!!!!

Once they know for sure who's in/out, they WILL send out emails (which, obviously, should get to us before the mail packets). That's why I mentioned it...

AH well same here, I applied for this year program, fall 2012 and have being bitting my nails ever since I sent my application. I am just so anxious can't barely wait for those letters to arrive. Well just hope we get them soon and good luck to you all. PLease let me know once one of you gets a decision. Thanks in advance and hope to see each others this fall. Good luck:nurse:

Has any of you taken the CPR classes, I was looking and you can take them online for like $20 but I am not sure whether it will work for them or not?? I know my friend took them at FIU
