Unfortunately I got an email stating that the first round of interviews have been scheduled and though it's not a cancellation email pending review of my application maybe I would be considered for an interview by the end of April:-( sort of disappointing just reading it though. But I will remain hopeful!

Also applied to psych. Got same email. Remaining hopeful. Have friend that is in Psych program at FIU and got notice of interview date late in application process. Any one here received a date for psych interview yet?

Congrats....pedinurse2018. I've been googling sample questions and have found some helpful ones on this forum. I'd imagine they'd be asking questions like:

1) why you're choosing this particular line of study?

2) why choose you over other candidates?

3) why fiu? Etc

For those receiving disappointing emails keep your head up. Applying to grad schools has been a rigorous process and the right match for you will happen. I've felt like pulling the trigger on offers from less desired schools due to my impatience with the process and feelings of disappointment....but things are starting to move and they will for you too

I know that feeling all to well with the disappointments with applying to grad school, I will remain hopefully and what's meant for me will be me, and the same goes for everyone else as well:-) I wish all of you the best I have heard so many great things about FIU!
