Anyone apply for FIU's CRNA program for January or August 2016, or been through the application process in the past few years? I just received my invitation to interview email and am exceptionally nervous and excited!

I have an interview with FIU on June 3rd ..so excited and nervous at the same time. I was wondering if the people accepted can share their SATS and some of the interview questions please . Is anyone else gonna be there on June 3rd?

I have a friend in the program currently and they gave me some tips. Gonna review all my CCRN material, ABGs, vent settings, vasopressors, etc. I'm reviewing all potential situations that I've encountered in my ICU career. Hopefully nerves won't kill me since I aced another program's interview and regardless of this outcome I'll be in school in 2017 but still!

Wow good for you that's exciting ..do you mind sharing your SATS? I'm super nervous :(

BSN, GPA lower than 3.5 but I boosted it with a graduate patho class, CCRN, 312 GRE (161 Verbal/151 Quant/4.0 Writing), 1 yr 10 mo ICU (will be 2 years when I start -- mainly vascular thoracic surgical but now I travel and do ICU Float so I see everything - medical, neuro, cardiac, trauma), Relief Charge, Preceptor. 36 hrs shadowing. My thing going into the interview is clearly they want you. You just have to have keep it up and show them why. Confidence is key even if you don't know something. Just admit it and move on, don't try to bluff. I beat myself up for forgetting the action of Dobutamine but I still got into my first choice program. but also know your stuff! I got asked about assessment for thorocoabdominal aortic aneurysms and really impressed them. gotta know your speciality.

Has anyone heard how the interviews are going this week

How did the interviews go for everyone ?
