Is there anything you did? I'm on the waitlist as well ?

I just started preparing for another interview with another school ?. You got this!! The waiting is tough but it’s still early on so don’t give up:)

Hi Guys, I have been looking thru FIU website, and know that they have 2% attrition rate for 2022 cohort. I wonder how about other attrition rate for previous cohort? really want to go for a low attrition rate school.

thx u

Did everyone that got waitlisted last year got in??? I got waitlisted this year I just want to know what to expect and if I have a possibility ??

can any of you give any information about how much $$ maximum you are available to take out per semester after tuition, for living expenses etc. I am a Florida resident but worried about cost of living expenses and if there will be enough available loan to take out each semester

It really depends on the semester. As a FL resident it is enough to cover tuition and you get some money back (not a wholeee lot though, specially in Summer). I got around 10,000 for living expenses in the Spring (taking out the max loans) and around 2,800 for Summer.

so there is a cap for the loan we can take out? since im not a florida resident so my first year tuition will be heavy, about 40-50k.

Do you know by chance if insurance is included in tuition? Or is it factored at all/added to cost of attendance?

When you guys got off the waitlist, they sent you an email or they called you?

Hey! I'm waitlisted for the class of 2027. I'm hoping that any of you from the previous class can give any insight into how the waitlist worked for you all. The director did explain that everyone on the waitlist last year received a spot in the class, even up until December. Do you know if people received spots sporadically or did it seem to happen in waves. I reached out to the admissions assistant who sent me the waitlist form (we had to formally accept our waitlist offer) and she was unable to provide any information only that no spots had been declined and stated they couldn't disclose our place on the list. Any info would help! Thanks!
