FirstLight HomeCare any one knows how they work?

Nursing Students CNA/MA

Published

I just got called for an interview and they're aware that I'm not a cna or hha. Was wondering how they are if it's all complete home care and if they provide the class?

I as well started Home Care without being a HHA or CNA. Many times if you are just starting out they will give you easier clients, and then as you get more confident in your abilities will perhaps give you more challenging clients. Each agency is different if they have CNA classes or not. My agency did have them, and I started working for them as a HHA and then 6 months later was able to take the CNA class and be working for them as a CNA now.

Good Luck

Thanks I thought of it that way. Which is still good because it'll give me the experience I need and obviously the income will help me pay for the actual cna class if they don't have one. But those questions are def. on my list of questions at the interview. Thanks a lot I appreciate it.
