New grad job applications

I'm due to graduate with BSN in December 2018 . My question is about Job Search . I am not looking for a full-time job as a new grad. Is the general rule that you have to apply before you even graduate and not wait until you passed your boards because the hiring process is currently happening for new grads. He is waiting until I passed my boards too late to apply for a job? Are there jobs for new grads that are a part time? Sorry for all the questions I don't have anywhere else to ask

I started applying to new grad jobs around 3 months before I graduated. I was fortunate to graduate with a job offer that was contingent on passing my boards by a certain date, which I did. I mostly applied to new grad residency programs. The jobs that were not new grad residencies did not consider my application without having passed my boards first. I didn't hear back from most of them, and the ones I did told me to re-apply once I had my license. I've never heard of a part time hospital new grad job just because of the extent of the training and the time that it takes to become proficient on the floor. I bet you could find something easier outside of the hospital. Then again it depends on the job market in your area.

Thank you for responding. I'm probably not going to be able to find a part time job as a New Grad I wish my school advisors were helpful to get me some information about this
