First Time TX RN License Renewal

Hi everyone,

I will be renewing for the first time in October. I understand I do not have to complete the CEUs for the first time, but how will I actually renew my license? Will there be a link on my Texas Nurse Portal page to click and pay? Will I receive an email with a link through Nursys? I have combed the BON's website, but I haven't found an answer yet.

Nursy will just keep track of most States you have a license in. They notify you based on the preferences that you put in on their website. Go to the Texas Nursing Board website to go in and renew your license. It should tell you what you're missing to renew. Renew EARLY. That way they can communicate with you before your license expires. I hope that helps!!

I am not set to renew until October. Will there be an obvious link to click to renew? Right now there isn’t anywhere that says “renew” , so that’s why I’m asking.
