First Male Nurse???

Hello Everyone,

I just joined and this is my first offical post. This is a great site and I am happy I found it.

I am currently in LPN school and will graduate in June. :roll

I have a clasmate who missed a clinical and has to write a 5 page report on the first male nurse.

It can be the first male nurse in hisory or the US. I really couldn't find much information at all.

Does anyone have any ideas or know of any good web sites I can gather info from for research?? I would rather ask for a new topic if I can't find anything.

look in the reference section at library I found a book about the history of nursing and it has a section on men. I think in the old days all medical care was preformed by men. not sure on that

Do a search on Google...there is a bunch of information online...

Wow, certainly makes you not want to miss clinical time! LOL I don't know your classmate, but he's lucky to have you, and I hope this is something that doesn't begin to repeat itself. You have a lot on your plate too.
