Good luck on the position. I worked as a CNA on a subacute rehab facility and from I experienced its pretty busy .The nurses were busy as well, especially the day shift.
Im a new LVN and I accepted a part-time position as a school nurse through an agency for my first job. I have been asked by some nurses if I had a BSN with a school certification:uhoh21:.I was like what?Do you have to have a school nurse certification and your BSN??? But I thought as long as you stay with your scope of practice your okay, right???:uhoh21: But other than that I love it:lol2:.
Thank you all for posting. Was a great help. I start 7-3 tomorrow. My regular day shift hours won't start up till another week and 1/2. I will pay close attention during orientation. I'll bring a pad too. Thanks. Keep posting anybody else here. Any other advice is appreciated here. Always up for learning more and refreshing skills. Im glad there are other nurses around to learn from too.

Anyone out there have a rehabilitation job and what should I prepare before going to orientation and that sort of stuff. Be a lot of help thanks. Am excited/anxious but yet nervous some too. But I know this is expected.
