Fired up and ready to GO !

So I start my final semester next week, and I'm just ready to jump right into it ! After a 7 week break, I'm well rested, read ahead, and ready to face bootcamp, I mean nursing school next week.

I know there will be lots of blood, sweat, tears, rants, complaints , and etc. , however I know it will all pay off July 25, 2009 ! :yeah::D

So This semester I think there needs to be some changes... What us nursing students need to do is get a grip, quit complaining( we chose this), and face this next semester head strong!

Instead using so much energy to complain and whine, lets just use that energy to study and discuss the material with other classmates to get more clarification.

Instead of dreading to go to clinicals, just think of each day of clinicals is one more step towards gaining experience we'll need in our nursing career.

Instead of complaining about failing our exams or not doing so well, lets study harder for the next exam and be two steps ahead of our instructors !

Instead of ranting about rude or mean instructors 24/7, lets look at ourselves to see what we can improve on

Instead of Spending every single day studying, spend time c- people that you love and give yourself ME Time

Instead of hating to wear all white to clinicals, thank God that you are in the nursing program and you shouldn't care if you had to wear Highlighter Orange !

Instead of spending 2-4 hours on allnurses q day ( I'm totally guilty ! :typing:zzzzz), why don't you use that time to study instead.

For me, I'll remember that all things are possible with christ who strengthens me :heartbeat

Lastly instead of doubting yourself know that you are :smart, intelligent, human( we all make mistakes), bright, compassionate, caring, competent, and will someday make a WONDERFUL nurse.

If you are Fired up and ready to go like me, give me a Hoop hoop hurray, and YES WE CAN :) :yeah:

Free free to add your new tactics to take on the next semester.

Your post made me smile, and was just the motivation I needed :) I'm having a rough time juggling everything and I feel like I'm losing it this past week and I know it's only going to get harder, my simple plan is to make it through May for now, then my soldier is home and I survived the first semester of nursing school

Thanks!! I really needed that! Especially going into the next week after the week I had last week...I will STAY POSITIVE and keep on keeping on :yeah:Now I have to get off allnurses and get to studyin'...lol
