Hi everyone,
Im a high school senior and want to become a nurse. I have been looking at colleges around New York like SUNY schools but I would like to stay in the city. I know there are schools in the city for nursing like Pace University, Lehman College, LIU but not sure which one I would want to go to. I want to know if someone can give me their experience in any school that has a nursing program in the city. (Doesn't have to be the three I listed) Any reviews or advice you can give me is appreciated. Thank you

Check out (collegescorecard.ed.gov). Look specifically at a school's Graduation and Retention rates as well as Cost of Tuition. Secondarily, NCLEX rates from the N.Y. BON. These primary and secondary metrics when reviewed in context will give you the closest thing to an unbiased review as you are going to get.
After you have narrowed down the many good nursing schools there are in the five boroughs of N.Y.C. (you mentioned three of them) that are suitable to meet your needs, only then is it wise to solicit "Opinions or POVs" from others who are usually very happy to give you their biased impression of XYZ nursing school only because they have graduated from XYZ nursing school.
So do the investigative heavy lifting first before asking some stranger in Bohunk U.S.A. for their take on things that may have more to do with them than actually looking out for YOU.
