financing

Hey all! I was wondering if those of you who have started school could give me some advice on financing. I know what my options are in general and am thinking I would rather try to get a loan. Can some of you tell me where you went for loans and when you started looking? I start at TCU in the fall.

Thanks!

Hi egul105,

The place that I go through is CFS (collegiate funding services - or something to that effect). You have to be enrolled in at least 6 credits during the time your loan is disbured to you. In addition you need to have an employment history of 2 years. The loan is paid directly to you (not the school) and covers anything you want it to cover - tuition, books, room and board, groceries, gas, etc. Here is their website www.cfsedloans.com Take a look at them, and I hope things work out for you!!!

talk to ***** in the financial aid office. you will probably find out that she already has it taken care of. getting financing at tcu will be one of the easiest parts of the whole process. (pm me for the name.)
