Financial woes

Hi everyone. I am a 44yo single mom, with a mortgage and all the monthly bills that go with it. I currently have a full time, good paying job but it doesn't make me happy or fulfilled. So I started the pre-reqs a couple years ago for nursing. I plan to start clinicals in the fall! My question is... since I will not be able to work, how do I pay my bills? Are there any particular loans to apply for? I don't qualify for grant money since I make a good salary, despite the fact that I won't be making that in a few months.

Any advice is appreciated.

Welcome to Allnurses. Perhaps you need to stop by the financial aid office of the school you'll be attending. In addition check out this link. I'll move your question to the student forum where you might get more exposure to students who are doing the same thing.
