Does anyone know of any scholarships etc to help with expenses at Excelsior?TIA,
Becky
Follow links on the EC website, there are scholarships available.
If you work in a hospital check with your person in charge of educational reimbursement. By policy pretty much most won't cover EC, but after about a year someone I worked with suggested ASKING about it and they found a way to cover my exams under 'tuition' because you do walk away with real college credits. I was surprised I got no hassle at all, they just said fine, go for it. There was a limit (6 credit hours/semester) but it was a huge help, and they even went back 2 semesters and reimbursed me. All it took was one well-written email to the lady in charge, pointing out that each test earned credit after I spent time with self-study to learn the material.
