Finally in nursing school and hardly on allnurses anymore

I finally got into nursing school after applying to what felt like forever and I'm a week and a half away from the end of my first semester!!! I think this is my first post since I've started which is so funny to me. I thought I would be on here all the time as a student. First semester has been enjoyable. It's a lot of work, but managable. How much tougher does it get?? I work part time and I'm a proud mom of 2. Just wondering and wanted to reconnect with allnurses... ;)

Good - that means you're too busy kicking ass in your program to come on here and gripe about every little thing :-P.

It depends on your program, but my experience in my first year was that the work stays the same - you just get used to it and eventually it becomes your new normal.
