OK I posted on here many time and I truly value the repsonses.
Well I have a 4 yr degree in Business and also half of a MBA finished. With the horrible job market in Business & IT I been thinking about nursing. I talked to my aunt who is an LPN and she says nursing is good..she enjoys it.
Well, could you tell me what type of nursing doesnt require night shift work?
My main goal is to become a teacher...So I know I would probably need an MSN
Please help me...I am trying to decide if I need to go for a ADN/RN or BSN?

Go for the BSN; an accelerated program if you can find one. It is the quicker way to an MSN, which you will need to teach or for advanced practice.
All accelerated BSNs require a 3.0 or higher gpa which I dont have
I dunno what to do
there is one school which has a regualr BSN and I gotta take like 5 pre reqs (all science) but only admit students once a year

Ooooh.
What ADN programs are available that you can get into with a minimum of muss and fuss? There are all kinds of distance learning alternatives to go from ADN to BSN then to MSN.
A standard BSN program at this point will be another (roughly) 4 years! Personally, doing that would drive me bats**t!
I believe you and I have corresponded before. Nontraditional students have to resort to nontraditional paths.
Best of luck to you.
Thank you to your response I appreciate it alot !!!
I see you are in GA what school did you attend
So how you like nursing
thanks

I am currently attending LPN school; second career. I'll be doing Excelsior's LPN to RN bridge as soon as I pass boards. I attend North Metro Tech in Acworth.
I'm going to love nursing. It has been my lifelong dream that I allowed to be sidetracked due to waiting lists for school
