Final Exams coming up :-x

Published

Hey all, so I'm one week away from being done with my first semester of nursing school! Problem is, that one week standing in my way = FINALS WEEK! I've done outstanding so far on all of my tests but they've been chapter-based; 2 of my finals, Health Assessment and Fundamentals are cumulative. My question is, where the heck do I start?! It's basically like, "You will be tested on everything from Day 1. Know everything we've covered in class and everything in the books". We don't have our old tests to look back on, and I've already done all the practice questions in our textbook when preparing for the first 3 exams in each class. Finals are Monday and Tuesday and I've put off studying because I am so overhwlemed at the amount of material I don't even know where to start.

Any advice on studying for cummulative final exams in nursing school? Anyone have any links or suggestions to helpful practice tests specifically for health assessment and/or fundamentals?

Thanks!!

I would go over the "more" important stuff from each unit. The stuff that seemed to be really stressed, the big picture of things and focus less on the details. Just make sure you have a good understanding of the things you have done and if there are any topics you struggled with, go back and touch on those. Remember important meds that might have come up and lab values.

If you have done great on your exams thus far, it seems like you must have a good understanding of the material. So just refresh on all of it.

To the key points in the book.

Good Luck! I just took my finals....whewww... What helped me is going over all my notes, what I highlighted throughout my text and the key concepts of each chapter. A final is what it is, there is no way you can re read ALLLLL of those chapters, Its one of those you know it or you dont kind of things.

Just my friendly advice, gave me an A and B+....Either way you need to remember that...you CAN do this!!:yeah:
