Has anyone ever fought involuntary termination at a hospital, either by going higher up the chain in command or through an attorney?

I contacted my private nursing Liability Insurance carrier today, and should hear back from an attorney soon. But I'm really worried about my nursing career, as its too easy for management to target a nurse due to their impossible expectations of nursing these days. And you can't always get your hands on documents/documentation that would show you provided good nursing care and/or that a patient is lying.
I found out today that NSO does not deal with employer disputes, only with issues with the nursing board. Contacted a nursing attorney, who strongly recommended that all nurses carry private Liability Insurance. I'm passing this on for others as NSO is only approx. $100/yr. Well worth the cost for added piece of mind as from what I've seen, I don't trust hospitals to back me up if there is any patient complaint!
