Hi all. I am asked all the time the type of nursing career I would like to pursue. And quite honestly, I have no idea. I usually tell people that I will find out when I get there. But, it is nerve wracking not knowing. I have never worked in the medical field, at all. So the question is this: how did/do you know which path to follow? Does the clinical experience allow you to get a feel for different aspects of nursing, or do you to figure it out on your own? Thank you so much for sharing!

I think it's different for everyone. Some people know what they want from the start, some people find out their passions during clinical and some people find it by accident, it takes others years and some never find it and go from one specialty to the other
